Chris J. Howley
President & CEO
Chris Howley is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience successfully leading, managing, marketing, and owning large privately held firms. His track record of general management, marketing, structuring businesses, financing and P&L management, as well as overseeing geographically diverse operations has led the growth of several businesses. By quickly assessing cultural distinctions and change requirements, understanding different talents, and refocused organizations, Chris delivers results.
Chris has an unwavering character and integrity, fueled by a leadership style and a disciplined work ethic formed on day one of his career. After graduating from Georgetown University with a degree in Marketing, he went to work in the hospitality industry, receiving total hotel and customer service training through the Marriott Corporation executive training program. He then transitioned to the parking industry where his leadership grew a regional South Florida parking firm. During his tenure, the bottom line tripled in size and profitability.
Chris then transitioned to a national parking firm starting as President of the hospitality division and in a twenty plus year career with the largest privately-held parking operator in the country delivered more than $500,000,000 in profitable growth contracts. As minority owner of a tightly-held corporation, he led the largest division of that firm and grew the company to the largest provider of airport transportation services. He sat on the board of Republic Parking System as Vice President, and has held the title of Executive Vice President since 2002. Chris managed the national company with more than 2,500 employees, and successfully negotiated agreements, solicited business, and prepared proposals and presentations for more than 100 airports across the country. He is specialist in working with government entities.
Recently, Chris sold his interest in Republic Parking System and co-founded a new firm, Howley Group, LLC in 2015. His dynamic, strong leadership has quickly grown the organization 600% in one year. He is an example in the community where he lives as well; his civic and community commitments as a Signal Mountain citizen are significant and his commitment to his religion, wife and four children remains his life’s most important priority. Chris is currently the mayor of Signal Mountain. He is a past President of Signal Mountain Golf & Country Club, and is an assistant varsity basketball coach for Signal Mountain Middle High School and a board member of the Signal Mountain Youth Basketball League.
